The Sketchbook of Ordinary Wonders (Paperback)

Claudia Tong is a London-based interdisciplinary artist whose work is grounded in cultural narratives and explores multiple facets of the human experience. Creating at the intersection of physical and digital art, her practice spans painting, illustration, mixed media, visual computing, photography, and music. With a background in computer science and psychology, her art embraces both intellectual rigour and creative freedom. She graduated from Brown University, and has lived, studied, worked and exhibited internationally. When not creating art, Claudia works in quantitative finance, coaches football, and actively contributes to art communities, namely ArtCan and Assemblage Collective.

This book presents her artistic journey over the years, charting a path from reality to imagination. It invites readers to interact with her work through a variety of creative exercises, from colouring to thought-provoking prompts. As a self-taught artist, Claudia is deeply passionate about inspiring creativity in others, viewing art as a process of experimentation, discovery, and self-expression rather than merely the ability to draw. Regardless of your background or experience, this book encourages you to uncover your own creative voice. The book is for you. Make it uniquely yours.
