The concept of liminal light—a concept that intersects both philosophical and spiritual domains, signifying the elusive light found in moments of transition—when boundaries are fluid and meanings are in flux. This notion can be understood as the threshold between what is, and what is yet to come: between day and night, between the present and the future, between the material and the spiritual.

The Artist in Her Own Words: 

Helena Barbagelata is a multidisciplinary artist, fashion model, researcher and activist. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Salamanca.

Throughout her career, she has received several artistic, literary and scientific awards from the Onassis Foundation, Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Greek Government, Università di Trieste, Universitat de València, Universitat de Barcelona, Premio Internazionale di Poesia e Teatro Castello di Duino, among others.

Care instructions: The lamp comes inside of the box with the shade packed upside down. When you remove it from the box (following the instructions printed on the inner flaps), you remove the plastic ring, remove the shade, turn the shade right side up and then secure it to the socket with the plastic ring again., Wipe the dust off gently with a soft, dry cloth.
